Field trips are open to anyone who is interested in Georgia’s native plants. The Upcoming Events box in the lower right corner of each webpage contains a list of upcoming field trips. All field trips require preregistration with the trip leader, whose email address can be found in the trip description. Please preregister at least one week prior to the trip. Also, some trips have a size limit, which is noted in the trip description, and trips may fill up quickly.
We welcome participants at all levels of knowledge, and newcomers are encouraged to ask questions. Don’t be intimidated by technical discussions. Most of our members are happy to answer your plant identification questions and explain any unfamiliar terminology.
