Stone Mountain Park turns 50!Come, enjoy and rediscover Stone Mountain Park!
The Stone Mountain Memorial Association is celebrating its first 50 years of protecting this great natural resource and providing recreation, education and entertainment opportunities for the citizens of Georgia and for visitors from all over the world.
We have planned special public programs and speakers to coincide with the anniversary as a way to celebrate half a century of natural beauty. Every Saturday and Sunday in April free programs provide opportunities to learn about the geology, ecology and history of the mountain.
For a complete listing of programs and descriptions, visit
