We had a nice little walk on Saturday.  The weather was very nice and the crowds for the Easter Egg Hunt were only a minor nuisance as we got started.  We had an extra walk just to reach the trailhead because of the mass of folks and restricted parking.

Trout lilies, tootworts, and early saxifrage were the most abundant flowers that were out along the trails.  We did see a goodly number of large trees and there were abundant remnants of last year's beechdrops where we stopped for lunch.  We were a tad early for the shrubby buckeyes to have opened - only the buds were visible.

It was, as usual, a great day to be in the woods.
