Upcoming Volunteer Sessions
Is there a better time to be in the garden? I always enjoy the golden light, the cool temperatures and smell of plants beginning to decompose…as strange as that sounds!
Volunteer sessions in November:
All weekday sessions from 9 a.m. to noon; all weekend sessions from 9:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.
Tuesday, November 3 - Tullie Smith Farm
Thursday, November 12 – Quarry Garden
Sunday, November 15, 1–4 p.m. – Build-a-Bog (special session)
Saturday, November 21 – Quarry Garden and Tullie Smith Farm
Note: We will not meet on our regular Thursday, Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving)
If you have an interest in joining our wonderfully dedicated group of volunteers that come on a regular basis, we normally meet each month on the first Tuesday, second Thursday and the third Saturday and the fourth Thursday.
Helping in the Atlanta History Center Gardens is an excellent way to learn about horticulture, spend time in a beautiful setting, work alongside interesting people… and often be able to take plants home!
Since we plan our activities based on the number of people signed up for each session, we ask that you let us know if you will be joining us. Likewise, if you have signed up and are then unable to attend…please let us know as soon in advance as possible.
Thanks for your interest!
