In an effort to better engage Georgians in conservation efforts around the state, the Georgia Conservancy is sponsoring a photo contest which will highlight nearly 30 high priority plant and animal species in all eco-regions of the state.  Photos will be posted on their web site every two weeks, and prizes awarded every month, with a grand prize of a digital camera to the person who enters the most photos over the one year project.

Rules and the Species of the Week Schedule can be found at: www.georgiaconservancy.org/index.php?page=state-wildlife-action-plan/photo-SWAP.

Thanks Mike!

I'll be submitting a few. But, looking at the list I am once again reminded how they discriminate against plants, as you'll notice the vast majority of what they are looking for are fauna, not flora!
